Wrapped in Winter

This wonderful barn is the first in a series I've decided to do. Barns and other buildings in winter. I didn't really plan on it, but it seems to be evolving into a series. I loved the overcast heaviness of snow laden skies and the effect on the landscape and buildings!

It started when I was in search of an image for a Christmas card. As you know, I used this scene for one of my cards. In that painting I played more to the lightness of the scene. This same scene has a more somber look simply by changing the overall color cast. I like them both!

The price listed is for this painting unframed.
