Hi Subscriber, Here we are at Thanksgiving already! It's been a warm and sunny month here. I broke my toe a couple months ago. Between that and getting the studio together, calendars made, the sale set up, and traveling to a couple art events, I haven't gotten out to paint since some time in October.
Or maybe since September. But! I went out a couple times last week and it was SO GOOD to be out painting! I did a little painting each of the two days. The river flowing by with the sound of geese coming and going, the warm sunshine and subdued color was amazing! Here's the two little ones from those two days. |
This first one was painted around two in the afternoon. The one below was earlier in the day. The bare trees with all their branches displayed is always enticing to me! In both, the way the trees grow together, or close to each other, makes me think of how we all need others to help us grow, to keep us company when the wind blows, or the storms come, and also to just enjoy a beautiful day together. |
Bright sunshine, calm wind and the low light of Autumn made it wonderful! I'm grateful to be able to do this! And I am grateful for you!
I can't tell you how much I appreciate your company and encouragement on this journey.
I hope you have a really good Thanksgiving, full of joy, gratitude, good food, and good company, |
