Hi Subscriber, I hope you're having a wonderful day doing something you love! Last week I told you a little bit about some extreme makeovers and the pre-show sale I have planned. Would you like to see a before and after? I LOVE before and afters, don't you? At the bottom of this email you'll find just a snippet of the process. It's a mini art video, of course, since I've learned more about that whole thing. I hope you like it! |
Now for the Before and After! Before . . . |
This WAS Come Up Higher. It has a new name to go with it's new look. The new look you'll see below is much closer to what I had in mind from the beginning. I just wasn't sure how to get there. Have you ever felt that? You have an idea, but just aren't sure how to do it? It happens often, whenever I'm reaching for something new.
After . . . |
A Psalm of Ascent 24" by 18" oil on canvas There's a huge difference, isn't there! The weight of intense light that we have here in the west is what I wanted to show. Sometimes it's almost shimmering with heat waves. I never saw or felt anything like it back east and it's one of the things I love about the west. What do you think? Do you love it too, or do you like the original version better? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Now you've seen one extreme makeover. There're a couple more that you'll see soon, along with the entirely new paintings interspersed with a few from the past. I can't wait to show you! Next week they'll all be in their finished state and ready for the pre-show sale. I'll have all the details then. Stay tuned! I hope you have a fantastic week, |
Ginny P.S. What do you think of this extreme makeover? I'd LOVE to hear your thoughts! Just reply to this email and let me know. The snippet . . . |
