Hi Subscriber,
I hope you're having a wonderful day doing something you love!
May was a whirlwind of activities for me, starting with a cow painting workshop I taught in mid month and ending with the third of three high school graduations we attended.
The workshop in Cody was SO MUCH FUN! Oh my goodness, it was a blast! Everyone there was so wonderful and excited to be there.
The quality of work done was impressive! I thought about the experience all the way home.
When it was about a week before the workshop I suddenly realized that it had been a couple of years since I had painted a cow face. Yikes!
I got busy doing some practice paintings and getting back in the hang of it. It was strange to realize I felt a little rusty and had to remember how to paint one of those cute faces!
Then it seemed like it would be a good idea to see what I had said the workshop would cover. It had been in the winter when I sent off the description and hadn't read it since.
Another yikes! Printed step by step instructions for everyone! Thankfully I found them in a folder.
Then I followed my own advice and practicing became easier. Here's the first practice one.
